Hare Krishna Prasthanam conducts Vedic classes for people of all age groups using the aid of the latest technologies available. We aim to disseminate the timeless classics of the Vedas keeping in mind the modern lifestyle so that human society can live a life full of health and happiness. They can go about performing their roles and responsibilities while learning about the ultimate goal of human life. These classics tell us the means to attain unending bliss or ‘ananda’.
Hare Krishna Prasthanam conducts regular Vedic classes both offline and online. Bhagavad Gita classes are held at our center in Thrissur on Sundays as part of our Sunday Love Feast programme. The same happens on festival occasions too.
Classes for Youth & Elders
We conduct regular virtual classes in the Bhagavad Gita (Gitopanishad) and Srimad Bhagavatam (Bhagavata Purana). While the Srimad Bhagavatam classes are held every morning, the Bhagavad Gita classes are held every evening. These classes are mainly for the youngsters and the elderly. The Gita classes are held in the local language Malayalam and English too.
Classes for Children
A unique initiative of Hare Krishna Prasthanam is the virtual Bhagavad Gita classes for children every evening. This is done in a way so as to not disturb the academic tasks that the child has to fulfill. These classes help children grow up with a wholesome understanding of the rich cultural experience that ancient Bharat has to offer.
Other Classes
Not just the Gita and Bhagavatam, our classes involve discussions on texts such as the Ishopanishad and advanced books from the devotional literature series. We place no restrictions on religion, caste, creed, gender, geography, etc to be eligible to attend our classes.
These classes are quite interactive with Q&A sessions, testing sessions through quizzes, etc. With time, we intend to make the process more fun-filled and streamlined.
