Hare Krishna Prasthanam conducts dham yatras annually to holy dhams such as Vrindavan, Mayapur and Jagannath Puri. More dhams would be included in the future. All devotees in touch with the centre or anyone else interested in travelling to the holy dhams participate in these yatras. Travelling to the holy dhams is an essential element of devotional service. It strengthens a devotee’s resolve in Krishna Consciousness.
In Srimad Bhagavatam 2.3.22, Srila Prabhupada writes in the purport “People should visit holy places like Vṛndāvana where such temples and worship of the Deity are specifically maintained.”
