You must be wondering about the logic behind our unusually big logo. Here is an insight into the same –
Sri Jagannath is the Lord of the universe. He is the most munificent form of Krishna and is also known as Purushotthama. He has a very majestic form with big round eyes with which He glances mercifully on His devotees. Scriptures state that this unique form of Krishna is due to His total absorption in the pastimes He had with Srimati Radharani. The Supreme Lord resides at Puri.
Lord Chaitanya is Krishna Himself who appeared in the form of a devotee to teach people how to render devotional service to Krishna. He exhibited highly transcendental mellows in the mood of Smt. Radharani too. On such occasions, He used to dance ecstatically in front of Sri. Jagannath. The Puri Temple has four gates, chief of which is the Lion gate(Simhadvar).
Our logo depicts Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu dancing ecstatically in front of Sri Jagannath at the Lion gate. These Transcendental Lords have now appeared in Thrissur (Dakshin Puri).
